B. Methodology
At CLC courses are designed and taught following a learner centered approach to focus not only on the general aspects of the language but also on the specific needs of each individual in order to facilitate second language acquisition. A wide range of in-class and extra activities are also developed during the course to reinforce the learning process. All four language skills (listening, speaking, reading and writing) are covered in our courses using authentic materials and combing direct cultural and language experiences to practice in real contexts.
C. Levels & Objectives
CLC courses are structured into 6 different Spanish language levels, ranging from Start (A1) to Proficient (C2) . The six reference level structure follows the guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages ( CEFR) , a widely accepted standard system to grade an individual's language proficiency.

INTERMEDIATE |
B1 |
Our Intermediate level is designed for incoming students who already have a handle on some of the language's more complex grammatical structures as well as a good Spanish vocabulary base. You will make the important transition from expressing yourself at a basic and functional level to achieving a certain degree of fluency in the language along with a greater comprehension of the Spanish way of life. By improving your understanding of both linguistic and extra-linguistic structures, you will note an improvement in your ability to effectively communicate with Spanish-speakers. This level will allow you to: 1. U nderstand the main points of clear standard input on familiar matters regularly encountered in work, school, leisure, etc. 2. Deal with most situations likely to arise whilst travelling in an area where the language is spoken. 3. Produce simple connected text on topics which are familiar or of personal interest. 4. This level will allow you to: 1. U nderstand the main ideas of complex text on both concrete and abstract topics, including technical discussions in his/her field of specialisation. 2. Interact with a degree of fluency and spontaneity that makes regular interaction with native speakers quite possible without strain for either party. 3.
